What Razer Gold is

Razer Gold is a virtual gaming credit run by Razer. You buy it as a prepaid PIN (a code), load it into a Razer Gold wallet linked to a free Razer ID, and then use the balance as a payment method in supported games and digital stores. Many players use it because it does not need a bank card at checkout and keeps game spending separate from other payments.

How Razer Gold is used in games

There are two common ways, depending on the game or store:

  • Wallet: redeem the PIN into your Razer Gold wallet on Razer’s official site, then choose Razer Gold as the payment method when you buy in a supported game or top-up page.
  • Direct PIN: some merchants let you enter a Razer Gold PIN directly at checkout without loading the wallet first.

Region and currency

Razer Gold wallets hold a currency that depends on your account’s region, and PINs are sold in regional versions as well as global ones. A PIN for one region may not be redeemable in another wallet, or may be converted at Razer’s rate, depending on the card. Before ordering, tell support the country of your Razer ID and the currency your wallet shows, and we will confirm which PIN fits. When in doubt, do not buy until the region is confirmed.

Razer Gold PINs are delivered as a code by message or email after payment, on request. Price and availability depend on the denomination and region, so support confirms both before you pay. The delivery time shown on this page is set by our team.

Safety tips

  • Redeem the PIN only on Razer’s official site or in the game’s official store.
  • Never send a photo of an unredeemed PIN to anyone who "checks" it for you — a PIN can be used by whoever sees it first.
  • Enable two-step verification on your Razer ID, and never share its password or verification codes.
  • Keep the receipt and the PIN message until the balance shows in your wallet.
