What a PlayStation Store gift card is

A PlayStation Store gift card (often called a PSN card) is a prepaid code that adds funds to the wallet of your PlayStation account. The funds can buy games, add-ons and in-game currency sold on the PlayStation Store, and can pay for subscriptions such as PlayStation Plus where the store allows it.

PlayStation is a trademark of Sony Interactive Entertainment. SMM Target is an independent reseller and has no affiliation with Sony.

The PSN region rule

PlayStation’s support pages explain that gift cards and voucher codes can only be redeemed on accounts registered in the same country or region as the card. An account’s country is fixed when it is created and generally cannot be changed later. So a card bought for the UAE store works on UAE accounts, and a US card works on US accounts only.

Find your account’s country in your PlayStation account settings (on the web: account management → Profile → Country/Region). Send it to support before ordering — we will tell you up front if we cannot supply that region. The gift card region guide compares this rule with Xbox, Steam and the mobile stores.

Spending the funds wisely

Wallet funds are used automatically at checkout before any saved card, which helps you keep to a budget. Many popular games — football, shooter and battle royale titles — sell their in-game currency through the PlayStation Store, so the same balance can buy it. Some stores also cap how much money a wallet can hold, and family accounts can have spending limits set by the family manager, so a parent can give a child a card without opening up a bank card.

How to redeem

  1. On PS5 or PS4 open the PlayStation Store, choose the "…" menu and select Redeem Code, or redeem on the web through your PlayStation account.
  2. Enter the 12-character code.
  3. The funds are added to your wallet.

Delivery and availability

Cards are delivered as a digital code by message or email after payment, on request. Values and availability vary by country, so support confirms the exact card and price before you pay. The delivery time on this page is set by our team.

Safety tips

  • Enable 2-step verification on your PlayStation account.
  • Never give your account login to someone who offers to "add funds for you".
  • Codes are like cash: share them only with the person you are gifting to.
