Facebook is widely used in Morocco for groups, pages, classifieds and local shops, and many sellers take orders through Messenger or WhatsApp. Instagram is common for fashion, caftans, beauty, restaurants and the large tourism and craft sector. TikTok has grown quickly with younger users and is often where food, humour and travel videos spread. YouTube remains popular for long tutorials, football and music. Moroccans also follow content from the diaspora in France, Spain and Belgium.
Moroccan Arabic (Darija) is the natural spoken voice, often written in Arabic letters or in Latin letters with numbers. French is common for business, brands and formal services, and Amazigh languages matter in many regions. Choose by audience: Darija with a few French terms suits most local shops, while diaspora and tourism content may need French or English. Avoid copying Egyptian or Gulf phrasing; it reads as foreign.
Content ideas that suit Morocco
- Facebook and Instagram posts in Darija with a French product name, showing the price in dirhams and the city you deliver to.
- TikTok videos of a craft, recipe or local trip that end with one clear call to message you.
- Instagram Stories of customer deliveries in Casablanca, Marrakech or Tangier, posted with permission.
When to post in Morocco
Morocco uses UTC+1 for most of the year, and the clock is set back to UTC+0 during Ramadan. The country otherwise does not change clocks in winter, so check the current offset, especially around Ramadan. Evenings and weekends are typically busiest; Friday is the main prayer day. Diaspora audiences in Europe follow a different clock.
Prices in the panel are shown in US dollars. The Moroccan dirham (MAD) is not pegged one-to-one to the dollar, so the amount you pay depends on the rate and fees applied by your bank; check the converted total first. Orders need only a public link or username — never your password — and the available payment methods are shown on the panel's Add Funds page.
